Marc Martin comes from Ecco
Marc Martin has been the new Wholesale Director for the DACH and Scandinavia regions at the French fashion brand Lacoste since January 1st. DACH boss Christoph Weller announced this on the career network Linkedin. "With extensive experience in the shoe and fashion industry," Martin brings "an innovative vision and a proven track record." In this "key role," he is expected to strengthen Lacoste's premium positioning and drive growth in strategic categories.
Martin comes from the Danish shoe manufacturer Ecco, where he has been Head of Wholesale Central Europe since August. Other positions include Clarks, Timberland and Gabor Footwear (Camel Active). CEO Christoph Weller also comes from the shoe industry: he has worked for New Balance, Adidas, Converse and most recently for Geox.
