Former Ara CEO will succeed Tim T. Müller
The shoe manufacturer AstorMueller has appointed Andreas Wortmann as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Wortmann comes from Ara AG, where he served as CEO from 2018 to September. Wortmann began his career at Paul Green Shoes in Munich, followed by management positions at Marc Shoes in Hameln, Mephisto Shoes in Sarrebourg, France, and at the Danish shoe manufacturer Ecco.
AstorMueller is a provider of its own brands Salamander and TT.Bagatt and has held the license for the Bugatti Shoes brand for over 20 years. "I am convinced that together we will successfully master our further transformation and thus further strengthen our market position," says Tim T. Müller, previous CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
