The menswear brand is intended to strengthen the premium segment within the House of Brands as an independent label.
The s.Oliver Group is further expanding its House of Brands and acquiring the Baldessarini brand rights from New Baldessarini GmbH, a subsidiary of the R.Brand Group. With the integration of this premium menswear brand, the company aims to strategically strengthen its position in the contemporary tailoring segment.
In the future, Baldessarini will be managed as an independent brand within the brand portfolio, similar to Lala Berlin, and will also reflect the product range of s.Oliver Black Label Men. With this move, the group aims to more clearly position the umbrella brand s.Oliver as a lifestyle brand focused on "100 percent casual" wear.
“Baldessarini is a strong brand with great potential. With it, we are closing the gap between classic business wear and modern casual menswear,” explains Johannes Rellecke, Co-CEO of the s.Oliver Group. The relaunch of the brand under the s.Oliver umbrella is planned for early 2027.
Raphael Heinold, CEO of the R.Brand Group, also views the sale positively. While Baldessarini is a strong brand, it no longer fits the company's strategic direction. Under the umbrella of the s.Oliver Group, the brand can now be further developed in a targeted manner.
