Free online format provides information about digital industry solutions
Following its successful premiere last year, the BTE is once again hosting the "BTE Digital Day" on April 16th. This digital event is aimed at retailers as well as textile and footwear manufacturers, offering participants the opportunity to learn about the latest digital solutions and services for the fashion industry without the need for travel. Participation is free of charge.
The content will be presented in 15-minute slots with interactive presentations and live Q&A sessions. Afterwards, the streams and presentations will be available as recordings to registered participants. Additionally, a virtual marketplace on the event platform offers further information and contact options for the participating companies.
Thematically, the BTE Digital Day covers a broad spectrum of key future topics. These include applications related to artificial intelligence in pricing and inventory management, logistics, omnichannel strategies, and middleware solutions. Cloud-based merchandise management and ERP systems, AI-supported software solutions for retailers and brands, IT and consulting services, and benchmarking tools will also be presented.
Further key areas include digital applications for customer loyalty, including assistance systems for omnichannel communication and customer apps. The program is complemented by solutions for inventory management, point of sale, CRM, document management, mobile applications, B2B order platforms, payment processing, and e-commerce and marketplace automation. Integrated retail systems that combine functions from point of sale to HR will also be addressed. An additional presentation will focus on business coaching and leadership.
Furthermore, the BTE will provide information about the services of the new BTE Clearing Center, which is scheduled to launch on July 1, 2026. In a separate session, BTE Managing Director Sönke Padberg will present current technological innovations for increasing efficiency in the fashion retail sector, including AI-supported approaches.
