New boards are intended to strengthen cross-country and cross-divisional cooperation.

Sport 2000 GmbH has further developed its organizational structure within its seven-country European unit. With a new committee structure and an adapted management team, the group aims to better coordinate cross-divisional and cross-border issues and accelerate strategic decision-making.

At the heart of the realignment is the introduction of six boards: Division Board, Retail Format Board, Marketing Board, 7-Country Commercial Board, Digital Board, and Retail Service Board. These boards are intended to coordinate issues affecting multiple divisions or countries and to improve collaboration within the group.

The management structure was also adjusted as part of the reorganization. CEO Dominik Solleder continues to lead the company. He is supported by authorized signatories Volker Gromer, Michael Kordts, and Jörg Seifert, who will be responsible for the Business & Market Services, Commercial 7-Countries, and Category & Retail Management divisions, respectively.

According to the company, the divisions will remain unchanged with their existing technical and strategic responsibilities. The new boards are intended to complement this structure and, in particular, to coordinate cross-functional projects and key future initiatives.

According to the company, the reorganization is due to changing market demands and the decision to discontinue the dual management structure of Sport 2000 GmbH at the beginning of 2026. With this new structure, the group aims to further expand its European collaboration and create the conditions for achieving its strategic goals.
