Platform shoes are back – but this model isn't meant for the catwalk or the nightclub. The US brand Let Loose has developed "Shit Shoes," bathroom sandals that are around 18 centimeters high. Their purpose: to raise the knees while sitting on the toilet and bring the body into a squat-like position. This is intended to make using the toilet easier.
Walking in these striking platforms is expressly forbidden. The Shit Shoes are intended solely for seated use. This likely makes them one of the few shoes where a stylish exit is more important than a bold entrance.
