Following the change of ownership at the end of May, Sebastian Jänisch assumed a management position at Ludwig Beck at the beginning of July. He succeeds Christian Greiner, who is leaving the company. The new majority shareholder of the traditional Munich department store is the entrepreneur Alfons Doblinger.
Jänisch will be responsible for operations, while board member Jens Schott will continue to oversee administration and finance. Schott previously worked for Peek & Cloppenburg for 21 years, most recently managing two of the fashion retailer's stores in Vienna.
