The Mutscher shoe store on Karl-Marx-Straße in Bautzen will close on September 4, 2026. Owner Simone Gedan wants to slow down after 27 years at the location. A clearance sale will be held until the closure.
The original company headquarters in Wilthen, founded in 1903, will continue to be run by Gedan's sister, Katrin Wagner. Simone Gedan plans to support her there occasionally in the future.
