The number of channels should be further expanded
The Schuhe24 platforms increased their sales by 2019 percent to 36 million euros in 75. “We were able to continue the growth of previous years in all areas. The number of participating retailers has grown significantly in double digits across all portals, and the number of items per retailer has also been expanded. The growth was achieved both domestically and in other EU countries.
“Outfits24 is now the main growth driver because the fashion market is significantly larger and has more retailers,” says Head of E-Commerce Christian Lange. The number of 45 channels currently used for sales is to be significantly expanded. In 2019, partnerships were concluded with Check24, the Unitex group, Digitec Galaxus and AboutYou, among others. In addition, a price guarantee has been introduced for all retailers, which guarantees fewer markdowns for online sales compared to store prices.
The Schuhe24 Group currently operates numerous platforms and online shops. After Schuhe24, the portals Sportmarken24, Outfits24 and Taschen24 were founded. The plan for 2020 is to establish two more portals in new industries and to significantly expand the number of channels. The plan is to reach the target of 2020 million euros for the current 100 financial year.
