General meeting in Maastricht also affected
The SABU Group has canceled its events in the first half of 2020. This affects both SABU GmbH and SABU Schuh-Verbund eG events. The entrepreneurs' trip to the Baltic Sea coast (May 1-4) and the Young Entrepreneurs' Meeting in Berlin (May 14/15) were canceled. The general assembly of SABU eG in Maastricht (May 22nd-24th) and the SABU Cup (June 21st/22nd).
“Even though our general meeting was not scheduled to take place until May, under the current circumstances there was no discussion whatsoever about canceling this event in Maastricht,” said Joachim Seibel, chairman of the supervisory board of SABU Schuh-Verbund eG. “The decision was fully supported by the entire supervisory board, including the executive board.”
This year's general meeting will be held at a later date. The location and time will be announced later.”
