General meeting of SABU eG not until mid-September
The Heilbronn-based group SABU Schuh & Marketing GmbH has adapted its order program for the spring/summer 2021 season to the new situation and announced its new order dates. “Together with the ANWR and the HDS/L, we have agreed on an initiative for a new seasonal timing and many market partners from the shoe, leather goods and even textile industries have already joined in postponing the next seasons,” says SABU managing director Stephan Jug. “It goes without saying that we have adjusted our own exhibition and trade fair dates and postponed the start of orders for our programs.”
The traditional start of the SABU order round with a tour across Germany with the early programs and the first fashion information in the bag is no longer taking place this year. As a replacement, a webinar will be held for all SABU customers with information about the start of the new season: a review of the spring/summer 2020 season, the first emerging fashion trends for spring/summer 2021 and ordering tips. The webinar will be recorded and can be accessed by traders at any time at a later date.
The catalogs and (special) programs will be available to all SABU affiliates both in print and virtually from mid-August 2020. As in previous seasons, scheduling takes place either via the SABU order portal or directly with the field sales representative of the respective ZR supplier. The order deadline for all programs has been extended to mid-September.
According to current status, the SABU trade fair is scheduled to take place again on September 12th and 13th in around 6.000 square meters of exhibition space at Redblue in Heilbronn. . “Unfortunately, under the current circumstances we cannot show our live fashion shows,” says Stephan Krug, “that would pose too high a risk for models and spectators. We will present a total of four expanded fashion information on the two days.” The 23th Ordinary General Meeting of SABU eG, originally scheduled for May 2020, 68, is now scheduled to take place as part of the trade fair on September 12 at 17:00 p.m. in the Redblue Forum .
