Business operations continue in full
On March 16, Real Innenausbau AG from Külsheim filed an application to open insolvency proceedings with the responsible district court in Mosbach. The court then appointed lawyer Marcus Winkler, partner at BBL Bernsau Brockdorff, a law firm specializing in company restructuring, as the company's provisional insolvency administrator.
The provisional insolvency administrator is on site with his team and is examining all options available to him as to how the company can be successfully renovated and permanently preserved for interior work, shop fitting and construction services. “We are getting an overview of the economic situation and will initiate short-term measures to stabilize the company’s business operations,” says restructuring expert Winker, who now wants to start discussions with all key parties involved.
Winkler sees the company's professional approach and the management's good customer loyalty as positive. However, the Corona crisis currently represents a challenge for the continuation and restructuring success of the company, the medium and long-term consequences of which are currently difficult to assess.
However, the business partners of Real Innenausbau AG do not expect any changes in their cooperation with the company for the time being. “Business operations continue in full. All customers will continue to be served professionally and with the tried and tested quality and adherence to delivery dates,” says Winkler.
The company's approximately 180 employees were informed about the insolvency proceedings and what would happen next at a staff meeting in Külsheim and via Skype at other locations. For the months of March, April and May 2020, they will receive insolvency money from the employment agency instead of their wages and salaries.
Real Shopfitting S.à rl from Flaxweiler (Luxembourg) and Möbelwerk³ GmbH from Lauda-Königshofen are not affected by the insolvency application.
