The "Kanyon Mid Disc" safety shoe from Puma Safety has been awarded the German Innovation Award 2026. The model received the award in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer".
The Trail Protect shoe combines sporty design with the requirements of modern workplace safety. Features include a fiberglass toecap, metal-free penetration protection, a slip-resistant and heat-resistant outsole, and a water-repellent upper. The Puma Disc system allows for quick and easy adjustment of the shoe.
The jury evaluated the submissions based on criteria including level of innovation, user benefit, technical quality, economic efficiency and sustainability.
