Austrian shoe retailer opens three new branches
The Austrian shoe chain Humanic is continuing its expansion course. Three new stores will be opening in March and April: in Karlsruhe, Bregenz and Baden.
In Karlsruhe, the retailer is returning to the city with a shoe store in the Ettlinger Tor Center (ECE). The fashion brand from Austria is taking over the former space of the Görtz shoe store on the ground floor with over 400 square meters of sales space. The opening of the new Humanic store in Karlsruhe is planned for April. Karlsruhe is an important location and “also corresponds to our expansion plan to continue to gain new, attractive locations in Germany for our Humanic sales line,” said a company spokeswoman, explaining the return to the city. Humanic had a branch on Kaiserstrasse from 2006 to 2019.
In Baden, Humanic opened in April in the former Delka branch on Rathausgasse. The sales area there is 300 square meters. In Bregenz, the shoe retailer opened a branch at Kaiserstrasse 7 on March 12th.
Humanic belongs to Leder & Schuh AG, based in Graz. The company is the market leader in the mid-price segment in Austria and is active in eight other European countries. Humanic operates a total of 145 branches.
