“REFLOW” by Anna-Lena Hentschel can now be seen in Hauenstein.

The winning design of the HDS/L Junior Award 2026 is now on display at the German Shoe Museum in Hauenstein. Alongside the award-winning creation "REFLOW" by Anna-Lena Hentschel from Trier University of Applied Sciences, other designs selected by the jury are also on display.

The young talent award was presented on June 24th at the HDS/L Symposium in Frankfurt. Under the motto "Preppy Look! Cast off for boat shoes & co.", wearable yet creative interpretations of the boat shoe were sought. Students from European fashion and design schools as well as young professionals from companies participated in the competition.

The jury particularly praised Hentschel's design for its creative and sustainable implementation. The HDS/L Junior Award is presented annually by the German Federal Association of the Footwear and Leather Goods Industry.
