Italian shoe manufacturer Giano has acquired the sneaker brand Hidn-Ander, founded in 2019. Founder Alessandro Viganò will retain creative direction. Giano will provide the label with its production expertise and organizational structure to drive its international expansion. The first Hidn-Ander collection under the new ownership is scheduled to be unveiled in November.
Giano is based in Torre San Patrizio in the Italian shoe region of Marche and traces its roots back to a traditional workshop founded in 1946. The company produces under its own name and has been a shoe licensing partner of La Martina since 2006 and of Harmont & Blaine since 2008.
