C&A will no longer use leather

Updated company animal welfare policy

C&A prohibits the use of leather and newly plucked down in its range. This is stated in the company's updated animal welfare policy. It states: "C&A has been part of the Fur Free Retailer program since 2016 and will no longer purchase leather from 2024." This includes full-grain leather, full-grain leather, genuine leather and bonded leather. In addition, the use of newly plucked feathers and down, both from domesticated and exotic or wild birds, is prohibited in all C&A products.

C&A's new animal welfare policy will come into force in July 2025 and includes a one-year transition period to ensure full implementation.
