BNS International GmbH is restructuring its sales organization. In light of the ongoing changes in the shoe retail sector and the shifts between distribution channels, the shareholders have decided to let Frank Sauter's managing director contract expire at the end of the year. Sauter worked for the Mainz-based furniture supplier for over 23 years.
With this realignment, BNS aims to react more quickly to market changes and further intensify its collaboration with retailers. Going forward, the company will place greater emphasis on individual responsibility within its sales organization.
As part of the reorganization, Andrea Naitana will assume responsibility for the key account team as Head of Key Accounts. Dominik Freckmann will become Head of Regional Sales, while Thomas Gembries will serve as Head of DACH Sales. Naitana and Gembries will jointly drive the further development of the German business. Gembries will also remain involved in activities in Austria and, together with Thomas Huber, Managing Director of Lavea AG, will be responsible for the strategic development of the shoe care business in Switzerland. All three sales executives will report directly to Managing Director Marc Bals.
Cooperation with Lavea expanded
According to the company, the collaboration with the Swiss company Lavea AG is developing positively. Together, the partners have been able to strengthen the market position of the Bergal and Solitaire brands and unlock additional growth potential. BNS cites expert advice, product quality, innovations, and point-of-sale presentation as key success factors.
“The challenges in the market require clear decisions and an organization that can act quickly, be customer-oriented, and efficiently,” explains Marc Bals. With the new structure, the company aims to create the conditions to better capitalize on market opportunities and further expand its market position.
