Goods expert Albert Mayer said goodbye at the ANWR Order Summer
Three days of trade fair in Mainhausen in bright sunshine. This aroused the desire for the fresh collections for spring/summer 2022. Almost 700 trade visitors from 400 companies took the opportunity to find out about the focus topics of trend, fashion and comfort at the ANWR Order Summer from September 7th to 9th. At the same time, the in-person trade fair was supplemented with a digital format.
Around 1 brands and exhibitors were represented in the exhibition halls and in the O220 order center. Mules, sandals, clogs and combat boots in fresh colors such as pink and orange, but also in light neutral colors and sorbet tones, were seen in many collections. The sneaker hype continues unabated in both women's and men's shoes. The ongoing interest in outdoor shoes was also reflected in the offers.

“The personal meeting with guests from trade and industry was just lovely. Many retailers have gained further relevant insights from the good sales of the last few weeks. That really put us in a good mood for ordering,” says ANWR Schuh managing director Tobias Eichmeier. “The ANWR Order Summer, together with the ANWR Order Winter, has clearly positioned itself as the main trade fair for ANWR shoe retailers, just like the ANWR Order First as a market-relevant industry overview at the start of the season.”
The new product concept “Shoe Love Partner Program”, in which retailers select from the current collections of participating industry partners under exclusive conditions, continued to play a key role after its introduction at the beginning of August.
At a get-together on the first evening of the trade fair, the long-standing goods expert and designer of the ANWR trade fairs, Albert Mayer, personally said goodbye to retailers and industrial partners in retirement after 47 years of industry experience.
Fashion Days & Now only on one day
With Fashion Days & Now on October 5th, ANWR Schuh offers specialist retailers another opportunity to round off their ranges with fashion highlights and, if necessary, stock up on immediate goods for the current season. The trade fair, originally planned for two days, will be shortened by one day. “At first we thought about canceling the upcoming Fashion Days & Now due to the lack of limits in the market,” says Tobias Eichmeier, “but we were even more pleased about the desire of many retailers and exhibitors to hold the Fashion Days & Now.”
